Meet the Team

Administration Team

Our data administrators, Claire B (team leader), Liz and Vanessa work hard summarising and coding information from patients’ clinical records, hospital correspondence and other sources into the practice computer system, ensuring data is up to date and accurate.

Advanced Clinical Practitioners

Dianne Butterworth and Emma Fish are both advanced clinical practitioners. Dianne and Emma can see and prescribe for patients with various health problems, particularly minor illnesses.

Care Co-ordinators

Our care co-ordinator team are based at Beech Tree Surgery, they offer support to patients who may have more complex needs or struggle with accessing primary care. Their team have expertise in working with patients with a learning disability, neurodiversity, mental health, cancer, frailty, dementia and patients at risk of harm.

Cleaning Team

Our cleaners, Carol, Justine, Kasia and Magda are responsible for cleaning the surgery to ensure we maintain safe environments for patients and staff.

Dietician and Health and Well-being Coach

Nicki and Danielle work with patients in group settings as well as one-to-one to promote health and well being through diet and lifestyle management.

First Contact Physios

Dave and Esther are physios who can help patients (18 years and over) with musculoskeletal issues including all joint and muscle pains. They can refer patients for scans and x-rays, consult the GP about pain relief and organise a sick note if needed.

Healthcare Assistants

Our Health Care Assistants, Alison Krygsman and Kayleigh Marshall, are able to do blood pressure checks, health checks, heart tracings (ECG), some dressings and wound checks.

Cheryl and Carolyn are assisted by Jade, our Information Management and Technology Co-ordinator and Georgina, our Administration Assistant.

Mental Health Practitioner

Our Mental Health Practitioner Ben offers telephone and face to face appointments to patients (18 years and over) suffering from mental health issues including personality disorders, anxiety and depression.

Nurses

Our lead nurse Chrissie Norris and our nursing team Eilidh, Emily and Simone run surgeries daily and can be consulted for monitoring long term conditions such as asthma, COPD and diabetes, they also perform smears, give injections and immunisations including a full range of travel vaccinations (where the vaccination is available for free via the NHS).

Lynn works with the nursing team to provide admin support to ensure the team have the medical supplies they need, helping advising patients on the immunisations they need to have completed and booking patient appointments.

Reception Team

Julie O’Neill (Reception Manager) oversees our team of 13 receptionists. Our receptionists have a demanding job trying to ensure the smooth running of the practice whilst dealing with patient enquiries. They are here to help you and if they do ask for details of your problem this is merely to assist the doctors and nurses in organising their available time to give priority to urgent cases.

Some enquiries may take a little longer than others to resolve so please be patient and the receptionists will do their best to deal with your enquiry as quickly as possible.

Secretary Team

Our secretaries, Jayne, Karen W and Karen S under direction from the clinical team mainly organsising hospital referrals for patients. They are also responsible for arranging our diabetic clinics and new baby check appointments.

Social Prescribing Link Workers

Beth and Sarah offer support to patients (18 years and over) to help with loneliness, loss of confidence, low mood, anxiety, bereavement support, money or debt worries and signposting to appropriate services
