We understand it can be confusing to work out who you need to book an appointment with for certain problems. We have produced a leaflet for patients to give some idea of who to book in with to make things a bit easier. Practice Management

Cheryl Midgley (Practice Manager) oversees the day to day running of the Practice, assisted by Carolyn Shepherd (Assistant Practice Manager). Georgina Kelly, Administration Assistant and Jade Muscroft, Information Management and Technology Co-ordinator, also provide support to the Management Team. Our Data Administrators, Claire Bogie (Team Leader), Liz Goldsbro and Lindsay Greaves work hard summarising and coding information from patients clinical records, hospital correspondence and other source into the practice computer system, ensuring data is up-to-date and accurate.


Julie O'Neil (Reception Manager) oversees our 12 receptionists, who work full time or part-time.  Our Receptionists have a demanding job trying to ensure the smooth running of the practice whilst dealing with patient enquiries. They are here to help you and if they do ask for details of your problem this is merely to assist the doctors and nurses in organising their available time to give priority to urgent cases. Some enquiries may take a little longer than others to resolve so please be patient and the Receptionists will do their best to deal with your enquiry as quickly as possible.


Our secretaries, Jayne Foston, Karen Wright and Karen Smart all work hard typing letters and liaising with hospitals. They are also responsible for sending out insurance reports and other correspondence.
