New Patient Registration
The doctors welcome new patients who live within our practice area.
Medical treatment is available from the date of registration. Please contact reception for further information.
As it often takes some time for records to be forwarded from your former practice, all newly registered patients will be asked to complete a health questionnaire. This will provide us with background information, and details of your past medical history.
Our contract now requires us to inform all patients of their 'accountable GP'. If you would like to know who your accountable GP is, please give us a call and we can tell you this over the telephone. When making an appointment you can specify which GP you wish to see and we will try and accommodate you if at all possible, however, this may mean your appointment will be outside the 48 hour period.
Policy for overseas visitors
We do charge patients whose main residence is not in the UK. The NHS does have a reciprocal agreement with some countries e.g. those within the European Union. Where there is a reciprocal arrangement, patients will not be charged for treatment.
Please note that not all practices have the same policy. So if you have anyone visiting from overseas and staying with you, it is worth checking with other surgeries, who may not necessarily charge.
