coffeediaryNew Patient Registration

The doctors welcome new patients who live within our practice area.  As it often takes sometime for records to be forwarded from your former practice all newly registered patients will be asked to complete a health questionnaire and are offered a consultation with the doctor.

Medical treatment is available from the date of registration.  Please contact reception for further information.

New Patient Screening

When you register with the practice you will be asked to complete a short questionnaire and to undergo a screening medical with one of our nurses. This will provide us with background information, and details of your past medical history.

From April 2004 patients are no longer registered with a particular GP but with the Practice, however, when making an appointment you can specify which GP you wish to see and we will try and accommodate you if at all possible, however, this may mean your appointment will be outside the 48 hour period.

Policy for overseas visitors

We do charge patients whose main residence is not in the UK. The NHS does have a reciprocal agreement with some countries e.g. those within the European Union.  Where there is a reciprocal arrangement, patients may be entitled to get a refund from their country of residence.

We do however charge all overseas visitors for our services whose main residence is not the UK. Please note that not all practices have the same policy. So if you have anyone visiting from overseas and staying with you, it is worth checking with other surgeries, who may not necessarily charge.
