HYMS We are a 7 Partner GP Practice situated in purpose built premises in the centre of Selby, covering a radius of about 7 miles. We operate one branch surgery in Hemingbrough which is only open part of the week. For details of the branch surgery and its opening hours, please click on the 'Opening Hours' tab above.

We run many clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes and offer a wide variety of other medical services including antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations and well-person check-ups.

In addition to everything you need to know about the practice, you will also find a wealth of health-related information in the menu on the right hand side. Please have a look around the website and feel free to send us some feedback.

Until we roll out to our new clinical computer system on Friday 18 May 2012, patients are no longer able to book appointments or order repeat prescriptions online.

You can book appointments by phoning the Surgery or calling in at the Surgery. You can order repeat prescriptions by calling in at the Surgery, or by sending an email request to repeats@posterngate.co.uk
